The indie comics world is dominated by artist/writers... but comics is traditionally a collaborative artform. Sometimes the synergy between writer and artist yields better stories than either party could have managed by themselves. In a visual artform the writer is less apparent than the artist... but writing comics isn't easy.
HARD WORDS is an independent comics anthology that started with the writing. Five strong indie writers, producing strongly-written stories for five equally- strong illustrators to bring those stories to life. This isn't like other indie anthologies you've seen. Or heard--this anothology has a soundtrack. Words are spoken as well as written, heard as well as read.
